Gene Signal is a research based biotechnology company specialized in the discovery, development, and commercialization of a new class of molecules to treat a range of conditions where angiogenesis plays a determinant role. In the context of its innovative research programme, Gene Signal is looking for a collaborator in the area of pro-angiogenic protein/peptide development.
Gene Signal is looking for a highly motivated candidate who is interested in applying and/or developing in vitro and in vivo models to optimize development of identified peptides. The post doctoral researcher will take leadership in the area of in vivo wound healing models and in the study of the mechanism of action of selected peptides.
The successful applicant will have a PhD obtained in France, will have acquired experience abroad, and must be willing to relocate to Paris. A strong background in molecular and cellular biology is required. Experience in animal manipulation and related analytical techniques skills (histology) are required. Use of in vivo model and graduated Level 1 in animal experiments will be an advantage. Good command of oral and written English will be an advantage, as well as a propensity for methodological report writing.
The position is for 1 year, renewable up to two years
